Proposed Hospital Area
Autism Care & Family Support
As part of the vision for a new hospital, this proposal would explore a specialized, child-friendly area for children with autism and their families, helping bring care closer to Eagle Pass and Maverick County.
- ABA Therapy
- Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Speech & Language Therapy (SLP)
- Individualized behavioral support
- Specialized professionals, including BCBAs and RBTs
- Parent and family guidance
The vision also includes guidance and support for parents and families, including mothers in the autism community who identify as Blue Moms, while reducing the need to seek specialized care outside the community.
